A year or so ago my wife suggested that I do something about continually asking her to repeat what she had just said. At the time I sluffed it off until I was having lunch with a good friend that has severe hearing loss. He mentioned to me that he had just completed an appointment with a new hearing doctor. He spoke very highly of the doctor and the office staff. I asked for the doctor’s name and phone number. A few weeks later my wife and I met with Dr. Olson. Dr. Olson’s consultation lasted well over an hour with the goal of helping to determine the life situations that presented the most hearing difficulties.
Of course, a hearing test was given, and an ear wax examine was done. There was a lot. Dr. Olson removed it. The long and short of it is that a couple of weeks later a hearing aid for the good ear and a transmitter for the bad ear were installed by Dr Olson. The follow-up exams are also done with great professionalism. They are geared to make sure the hearing aid is working well. I highly recommend Dr. Olson and his office Applied Hearing Solutions.
